2023 Northwest Summer League
Information Guide
Updated: March 30, 2023
We are very excited to have your athlete attend the 2024 Northwest Summer League. Baseball tournaments for 9U-18U in the Pacific Northwest conclude on July 21, 2024. This leaves a gap for many players to play baseball from July 22nd to Fall 2024. The Northwest Summer League will provide incoming 7th graders (2030) thru incoming Seniors (2025) competitive baseball during the summer, giving players additional innings of baseball against some of the top players in the Northwest. There will only be 25 position roster spots and up to six Pitcher Only (PO) positions players at each division/camp.
The Northwest Summer League will be for individual players only; it will not be for teams (club/organizations) to participate. Lastly, the Northwest Summer League will not be affiliated with a youth baseball club or youth baseball organization. It will be coached/instructed by Division I-III college coaches only at their respective team camps.
The Northwest Summer League is not intended to replace or conflict with PAC Northwest, or Prep Baseball Report events in late July and Baseball Northwest Championships mid August. The older age group’s schedules has been developed to help athletes be prepared for the those events.

NW Summer League Media Day (August 3rd):
We will conduct a media day on August 3rd before all of the practices take place. The Northwest Summer League Media day will begin at TBD and conclude around TBD at the University of Portland. This is where all of the athletes photos will be taken. Your athlete will be required to attend.
Playing Conflicts:
Each of you have stated that your athlete can attend all of the practices and games. This was part of the selection criteria to participate in the NW Summer League. We have minimal rosters so your athlete can get the most playing time possible. This is not a program were you can pick and choose when to attend. We will support athletes attending the USA Baseball: NW Regional Team/USA Baseball ADP or USA Baseball National Team Trials and PAC NW; however, we will not support athletes attending other baseball functions when they are scheduled to attend the NW Summer League practice or games. There are no exceptions other than attending USAB events and PAC NW. An example of a potential conflict will be the Perfect Game All-State Games August 13-14 during the Youth Camp weekend. I understand that there are conflicts; however, an athlete’s absence will cause a problem for scheduling and mostly pitching. We understand that there maybe conflicts with personal situations and we can work through those conflicts.
