John Browand is a 6’7’’ 172 lb. 2026 out of Gig Harbor WA attending Peninsula High School. Imposing primary Right-handed pitcher with a tall waist and lean, muscular build. Works from the wind-up and stretch and moves efficiently down the mound. Comes at hitters with a higher 3/4 arm slot with lots of extension. Fastball sits in the low 80’s with good arm side run. Mixes in a breaking ball with late, sweeping action, getting hitters to chase. Possesses loose arm action and an easy delivery. Demonstrates the ability to manage the run game, mixes looks, and is quick to the plate, leaving baserunners in place. Excellent student.
