Myles Cox is a 5’11’’ 172 lb. 2027 out of Eugene OR attending Willamette High School. Good feel for the game.  Balanced approach at the plate.  Active hands and waggle provide timing mechanism.  Easy power transfer.  Ball jumps off the barrel.  Good baserunner.

On the mound, works quickly with good tempo.  Uses lower half well to get good extension.  Quiet motion.  Made some velocity jump over the last year with his fastball in the mid 80’s and has good life to it.  Effectively uses tight slider to change speeds and change the eye level.  Head stays level throughout delivery.  Heavy strike thrower.

Defensively, good range and moves feet well through the ball.  Accurate throwing arm from deep in the hole.  Anticipates and reads the ball well off the bat.  Demonstrates the ability to get to balls that most don’t. Excellent student.
