Vestergaard is a 2028 grad out of Sunset High School in Portland, Oregon.  A tall, lanky outfielder continues to grow and get stronger.  In the outfield he is able to track balls very well, understands routes and puts himself in the best position to make plays.  Proper glove angles on ground balls to the outfield, and great footwork lets him get the ball back in the infield in a hurry.

As a pitcher he is still refining his craft.  An upper 60’s fastball finds the zone often as a heavy strike thrower.  Not afraid to attack opposing hitters, and his developing off-speed pitches are going to be exciting to watch over the next few years.

A right handed hitter, he is very well balanced in his approach.  He is able to get his hands quickly into the zone and has his barrel in the zone for a huge chunk of his swing.  Naturally produces line drives, and works with a up the middle approach.  Topped out with a 82.6 MPH exit velo this fall, look for that number to continue to climb as he continues to grow and get stronger.
