Northwest Summer League:

About: Baseball tournaments for 9U-18U in the Pacific Northwest concludes at the end July and resumes the beginning of September. This leaves a gap for many players to play baseball in August. The Northwest Summer League will provide top incoming 7th graders (2031) to incoming Seniors (2026) additional games (7-9 inning games) during the summer, giving players additional innings of baseball against top players in the Northwest. There will only be 25 position players and 6 Pitcher Only roster spots available for each age group.

Summer 2025 Age Groups:

  • Incoming 7th (2031), 8th (2030) and Freshman (2029)

  • Incoming Sophomores (2028) and Juniors (2027)

  • Incoming Juniors (2027) and Seniors (2026)

Positions for the Northwest Summer League:

  • Catchers - 4

  • First Baseman - 3

  • Middle Infielders - 6

  • Third Baseman - 3

  • Outfielders - 9

  • Pitchers Only - Up to 6

    • A smaller roster provides significant playing time for each athlete on the roster.

The Northwest Summer League will be for individual players only; it will not be for teams (club/organizations) to participate. Lastly, the Northwest Summer League will not be affiliated with a youth baseball club or youth baseball organization. It will be coached/instructed by Division I-Community College coaches only at their respective team camps.

What Are You Doing This Fall?

The Northwest Summer League - Fall Edition is Six weeks: 12 practice and 6 games against Community Colleges.

About Northwest Summer League:

Northwest Summer League will be played universities to help athletes prepare for recruiting events such as USA Baseball, Baseball NW, Prep Baseball Report events and college camps in the PNW and nationally. Additionally, it will keep athletes learning/playing the game of baseball in the best time of the year in Washington and Oregon.

  • Northwest Summer League Goals:

      • Provide athletes an opportunity for exposure needed to advance to the next level.

      • Provide high school athletes a college experience by playing on Division 1 college fields and to be coached/instructed by Division I-III college coaches.

      • Provide players high quality baseball practices between the Spring and Fall seasons.

      • Provide players high quality baseball games in the Pacific Northwest between the Spring and Fall seasons.

      • Reduce the cost for families who travel out of state to play baseball during the summer.

      • Provide the opportunity for top players to play with/against other top players.

  • College Commits:

    • Since the Summer of 2022, 65+ athletes on The League rosters have committed to play beyond high school.
