Behind the plate, Blake is solid defensively. He blocks, receives, and handles pitchers well, showing consistency in his catching skills.

Offensively, he shows a solid swing with decent rhythm. He stays back on offspeed pitches, stays stacked, and demonstrates good barrel control. He creates a lot of backspin on the baseball and can hit velocity, showing good bat-to-ball skills. His ability to consistently find barrels gives him potential as a hitter.

On the bases, Blake runs well for a catcher. He hustles every play and adds value with his athleticism.
