Northwest Summer League
2027 Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2027 Northwest Summer League will begin in November at the Northwest Nationals Baseball and Softball Training Facility, 11000 SW 11th Street, Suite 420, Beaverton, OR 97005. All incoming 2028 through 2032 athletes are invited to compete for a roster spot in one of our three divisions: High School Prep, Underclassman, and Upperclassman.
This year, we are holding position tryouts. Grouping athletes by position lets our staff run a more focused, thorough evaluation of each player's skills, athleticism, competitiveness, and overall potential. Athletes will be evaluated at their position and in hitting.
Some 2027 roster spots will be reserved for returning 2026 athletes, and each division carries a limited number of players at each position, so competition for the remaining spots will be strong. We are looking for dedicated student-athletes who want to compete against talented players and keep developing over the summer.
The tryout fee is $30, and athletes must complete the registration form below to be considered. Tryout dates for each position, along with more details, will be released soon.
Since 2022, the Northwest Summer League has helped 130 student-athletes continue their baseball careers at colleges and universities across the country, and four players have been selected in the Major League Baseball Draft. There is no league like it!
Catchers Tryouts
The Northwest Summer League will hold a catchers tryout on Sunday, November 15, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Northwest Nationals Baseball and Softball Training Facility, 11000 SW 11th Street, Suite 420, Beaverton, OR 97005. This tryout is for incoming 2028 through 2032 catchers competing for a roster spot in one of our three divisions: High School Prep, Underclassman, and Upperclassman.
Each division carries only four catchers, so spots are limited and competition will be strong. Athletes will be evaluated at the catching position and in hitting. This gives the Northwest Nationals staff a full picture of each player's skills, athleticism, competitiveness, and overall potential, along with how well they lead and handle a pitching staff.
While some 2027 roster spots will be reserved for returning 2026 athletes, we are actively looking to fill the remaining catcher openings in each division. We are seeking dedicated student-athletes who want to extend their summer season, compete against talented players, and continue their development throughout the summer.
The tryout fee is $30, and athletes must complete the registration form below to be considered. Athletes should arrive in full baseball gear with their full catcher's gear.
