Carson Rommel is a 5’11’’ 175 lb. 2026 out of Portland OR and attends Jesuit High School. Primary 1B with a big frame with athleticism for the position. Demonstrates footwork throughout the fielding process. Gets his body into a good receiving position and exhibits a quick transfer when necessary. Works firmly through balls in the dirt, routinely saving errors.

Right-handed hitter that has a quiet set up at the plate with hands high. Slight forward movement with front leg creates space for him to sink into the ground. Hands are direct to the ball with a lagging barrel. Works the right side of the field often with the ability to turn on a ball that’s in. High contact hitter with limited swing and miss at bats. Good student, 3.8 GPA.

Carson is tough and team-oriented. He competes through bumps and bruises, and his running catch while crashing into a fence says everything about his “want to”. The broad-shouldered frame adds strength and presence.

Defensively, he is solid at first base with sure hands and reliable footwork. He settles the pitcher down with vocal leadership and provides confidence to the whole infield.

At the plate, he hits from a wide stance and uses natural strength to drive the ball. He has the ability to drive the ball with authority when he stays through the middle of the field.

On the bases, he runs to the best of his ability. His hustle ensures he gives the team honest effort every time.
