Player Write Up

Cash Dickson | Class of 2028 | Lakeridge High School | Lake Oswego, OR

Height/Weight: 5'11", 155 lbs.

Primary Position: MIF | Secondary Position: RHP | Bats/Throws: R/R

Cash Dickson, a 5'11", 155-pound middle infielder headed to Lakeridge High School, brings a lean, energetic build full of athleticism. He's a smooth, rhythmic fielder with quick hands, maintaining excellent control and fluid movement through the ball. While his arm strength is still developing, he shows a knack for fast, clean transfers, keeping his hands away from his body.

As a top-of-the-order hitter, Cash excels at setting the table and making an impact on the base paths. His stance is wide and balanced, with a high hand slot and a rhythmic load that creates good hand separation. He consistently finds barrels, often driving the ball to the right side by working inside the pitch.

On the mound, Cash is a strike-thrower with a 3/4 arm slot, mixing three pitches to keep hitters off balance. His velocity continues to improve, having gained double digit velocity over the past two years. With a wide array of tools and considerable upside, Cash is an impact player with a bright future.

  • Jared McGowan (2024)

Cash has an athletic build with room to add muscle. He moves easily and carries some swagger.

In the infield, he has good hands and footwork with a really clean forehand and backhand at shortstop. On the mound, he works from a low ¾, almost sidearm delivery. He throws strikes and uses a good mix of pitches. He tends to slow the arm on offspeed, so there’s clear room to grow by keeping the same arm speed on all his pitches.

At the plate, he has a good approach. He likes to attack first-pitch fastballs and can start a rally. The swing is simple, he can hit the ball to the opposite field, and he finds a consistent barrel.

He runs the bases well. The first step is explosive and his IQ on the basepaths is apparent.
