Chase has a great attitude and is highly coachable. He’s athletic and a competitor who thrives as a multisport athlete. His energy and toughness make him a valuable teammate.

In the outfield, Chase covers ground with easy speed, gliding gap to gap. He has a cannon for an arm and isn’t afraid to show it off. On the mound, he throws left-handed from a low ¾ arm slot. His fastball has good velocity and slight rise, making him tough on left-handed hitters. Though still a little raw as a pitcher, he pitched efficiently and showed a big upside. His changeup shows promise, and he’ll benefit from staying closed longer when throwing offspeed. With work, he could be an excellent pitcher.

At the plate, Chase hits from a balanced stance. He has easy power and consistently finds the barrel. When he connects, the ball is torched. He can drive the ball to all fields and has legitimate home run potential.

On the bases, he is fast and quick. He’s a threat at all times, stealing bases with ease and applying constant pressure.
