Collin Dunn possesses a rare physical profile with a 6’8” frame and significant room for continued physical development. His size creates immediate intrigue on the mound, and his ability to move efficiently for his frame adds to his long-term projection.

On the mound, Dunn shows the ability to create downhill action with an easy up-and-down delivery. When he reaches extension the ball stays down and with angle, given his height. He has shown the ability to generate swing-and-miss when he trusts his stuff and allows his athleticism to work. His current arsenal features a four-seam fastball at 76-81 mph (T82), a two-seam fastball at 71 mph, and a slider at 64-69 mph. As he continues to develop physically and refine his pitch mix, his size and arm talent provide an intriguing foundation. 

Dunn’s combination of elite frame, athletic movement, and present ability to miss bats makes him a player with significant upside. Continued strength development and refinement of his command and secondary offerings will be key factors in his progression, but his physical projection makes him an arm to continue monitoring.
