Cooper is a coachable, positive kid with a good attitude and a “flush it” mentality. He handles failure with maturity and always looks to bounce back for his team. His demeanor and energy make him a strong teammate who leads by example.

Defensively, Cooper is reliable at shortstop. He shows smooth hands, agility, and strong one-handed glove moves. He has a dependable arm, made a diving play up the middle, and has proven he can be trusted as an anchor in the infield. He can also pitch, where he shows good velocity for his size and competes on the mound with confidence.

At the plate, Cooper has good barrel control and finds the barrel consistently. He has shown the ability to drive the ball pull-side and to the opposite field. His bunting skills add another offensive tool, and his pitch selection makes him disciplined in the box.

On the bases, Cooper runs with hustle and athleticism. While his instincts and base running IQ still have room for improvement, his effort and agility allow him to take extra bases and compete effectively on the paths.
