Dakari Evans possesses a medium athletic profile with noticeable physical growth from 2025 to 2026. His continued strength development is evident, and his athletic foundation provides a strong platform for future improvement.

Offensively, Evans brings an aggressive approach to the box and looks to do damage early in counts. He hunts the fastball and shows the ability to stay compact with a tight swing path that creates consistent contact. His ability to limit swing and miss gives him a solid offensive foundation as he continues to develop his overall approach.

Defensively, Evans shows the athletic ability to put himself in position to make plays and consistently gets to the right spot. The next step in his development will be improving his ability to finish those plays. Continued work on arm strength, as well as staying behind the baseball and creating better momentum through his throws, will help him become a more complete defender.
