Dakota Chun is a 5’8’’ 215 lb. catcher out of Beaverton OR and attending Sunset High School. High IQ kid that controls the game from behind the plate. Employs a catcher’s build with a physical frame and strong lower half.  Has quick and clean transfer from behind the plate on throw downs. Has short arm action and strong arm.  Posted a 85.6 mph catcher velocity on throw downs over a year ago.

Left-handed hitter with shoulder width, balanced stance. Hands are high pre-pitch and synchronized with his leg kick during load. Drops his barrel into the zone and gets his eyes behind the baseball producing lots of pull side power. Does not miss strikes in a hitters count. Notched a 99 exit velocity at NW Summer League.
