Dane is a strong, tough competitor with a great attitude and real hustle. Playing up with the older group didn’t faze him, and the toughness to catch four games in one day speaks for itself. He’s durable, focused, and team-first.

Behind the plate, he is a big target who receives cleanly and frames pitches well. He blocks with conviction. His transfers are crisp and his arm strength shows on throwdowns. While his catcher IQ can keep growing, his defensive tools already impact the game.

Offensively, Dane has real juice. He consistently left the yard in BP. He has the ability to see the ball deep and has the hand speed to drive it the other way. He has executed situational offense like the hit-and-run and sacrifice fly. Refining his pitch selection and count leverage will make him even more dangerous.

For his size, he runs well. His hustle turns average opportunities into extra bases.
