Formal Invite: The 2027 Northwest Summer League (High School Prep)

We are pleased to formally invite your student-athlete to participate in the 2027 Northwest Summer League (NWSL) High School Prep Division.

This invitation reflects your athlete’s demonstrated ability, competitiveness, and potential to benefit from the high-level development environment of the Northwest Summer League. Invitations have been extended based on either:

• Acceptance of your athlete’s 2027 Northwest Summer League questionnaire, or

• Your athlete’s performance and participation during the 2026 Northwest Summer League, which earned consideration for a 2027 roster position.

We are excited to continue building the High School Prep Division with many of the top high school players throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Acceptance Deadline:

Please confirm acceptance of this invitation by email within two (2) weeks of the date of this message.

Roster spots are limited by position, and invitations will be managed accordingly as we build the 2027 roster. Accepting the invitation communicates your intent to participate; the roster spot will be officially secured once the required deposit is received.

Assigned Position:

Your athlete’s primary position(s) for the 2027 Northwest Summer League are identified in the invitation email sent by Northwest Summer League staff.

Because rosters are intentionally constructed by position, athletes should expect to primarily compete at their assigned position(s).

Attendance Commitment - Please Read Carefully:

Acceptance of this invitation requires a commitment to attend all scheduled Northwest Summer League practices and games.

Because our rosters are intentionally small, one athlete's absence can significantly affect teammates, pitching plans, defensive rotations, practice structure, and the overall quality of the experience.

Please carefully review your family's anticipated summer schedule before accepting this invitation.

2027 Locations:

The 2027 Northwest Summer League plans to continue utilizing premier college baseball facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest, including:

• University of Portland

• University of Oregon

Final dates, university locations, practice schedules, and game schedules will be communicated as they are confirmed.

2027 League Fees:

• Position Player: $2,600

• Pitcher Only: $1,500

• Practice Player: $1,000

Payment:

To help families plan for the 2027 Northwest Summer League, a structured payment plan will be available from January through May.

All Northwest Summer League payments will be processed through the Baseline App, the same platform used by the Northwest Nationals Baseball and Softball Training Facility. Families will be able to manage their registration, payment method, and scheduled payments directly through Baseline.

The 2027 payment schedule for position players will be:

• January 1, 2027: $1,000 non-refundable down payment

• February 1, 2027: $400

• March 1, 2027: $400

• April 1, 2027: $400

• May 1, 2027: $400

The $1,000 January down payment is non-refundable and officially secures the athlete’s roster position in the 2027 Northwest Summer League.

All remaining registrations and payments become non-refundable after June 1, 2027, regardless of circumstance, including injury.

Moving the payment process to Baseline will provide families with a more organized and convenient way to manage Northwest Summer League payments while keeping registration and payment information within the same platform used by the Northwest Nationals Training Facility.

Once the applicable refund deadline has passed, no exceptions will be made.

Accepting Your Invitation:

To accept your invitation to the 2027 Northwest Summer League High School Prep Division, please reply to this email within two weeks confirming that your student-athlete intends to participate.

Once acceptance is received, additional information regarding the deposit, payment schedule, roster process, 2027 calendar, and next steps will be provided.
