His above-average arm strength and defensive range allow him to make difficult plays look routine, while his instincts and baseball IQ enable him to play the game with confidence and consistency.

At the plate, Hudson stands out for his advanced bat-to-ball skills and ability to consistently compete in every at-bat. He keeps his swing under control, makes quality contact to all fields, and shows an approach that gives him the opportunity to contribute against quality pitching.
