Northwest Summer League

2027 Information Guide

As we approach the start of the 2027 Northwest Summer League, we want to take a moment to review a few important details to help ensure a smooth and successful experience for all involved.

We are excited to welcome your athlete to this year’s league, which begins immediately following the conclusion of most regional youth baseball tournaments. Running from late July through the fall season, the Northwest Summer League fills a critical gap in competitive play, providing incoming 8th graders (Class of 2032) through incoming seniors (Class of 2028) with the opportunity to compete in high-level games and gain valuable innings against many of the top players in the Pacific Northwest.

Northwest Summer League Goals

  • Provide additional playing time during August in optimal weather conditions.

  • Offer a true college baseball experience with games on NCAA Division I and Division III fields and instruction from college coaches.

  • Deliver high-quality baseball through 12 games and 8 practices between the spring and fall seasons.

  • Reduce travel-related costs for families by offering a local, competitive summer alternative.

  • Help athletes prepare for Baseball Northwest and USA Baseball events.

  • Bring together top-tier talent from across the Northwest to compete, develop, and grow.

  • Foster player development through structured practices and competitive game environments.

  • Grow the game of baseball throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Uniform Script:

All athletes participating in the Northwest Summer League are expected to follow the designated uniform script each day. This includes wearing the assigned jersey, hat, pants, and any additional gear as outlined in the weekly schedule. Game jerseys and practice shirts must be tucked in at all times, and sunglasses should reside on the back of the hat when not worn on the athlete’s face. We expect athletes to pay close attention to details, not only in their on-field play, but also in how they present themselves in uniform. Adhering to the uniform script promotes team unity, reinforces professionalism, and ensures a consistent and organized appearance across all teams and events. Athletes who arrive out of uniform may be held out of play or asked to change before participating. We appreciate your attention to detail and commitment to representing the program the right way.

Player Lockers (Virtual)

Every Northwest Summer League athlete will have a dedicated digital Player Locker designed to serve as a comprehensive player profile for coaches, scouts, families, fans, and others following the league.

Each Player Locker may include:

  • Personal & Player Information – Height, high school, graduation year, hometown, primary and secondary positions, bats/throws, and other relevant player details.

  • Performance Data – Game statistics, measurable performance information, and other data collected throughout the Northwest Summer League.

  • Player Write-Up – A detailed player overview highlighting strengths, playing style, development, accomplishments, and other notable information.

  • Social Media – Links to the athlete’s approved social media accounts so coaches, scouts, and supporters can easily follow their baseball journey.

  • Player Videos – Game footage, highlights, pitching or hitting videos, training clips, and other video content that helps showcase the athlete.

  • Ongoing Updates – Player Lockers can continue to grow throughout the summer as new statistics, achievements, videos, and information become available.

Keep Your Player Locker Updated

Athletes and families are encouraged to make sure all information in the Player Locker is complete, accurate, and current. Providing updated information gives each athlete the best opportunity to present a complete picture of who they are as a player and what they have accomplished.

Please submit new information, corrections, updated achievements, social media accounts, or other Player Locker content through the Player Locker Information Form:
