Jack Kiesel is a 6’2’’ 175 lb. 2026 out of Camas WA and attending Adrienne C. Nelson High School. Slim athletic build with room for added strength as he continues to develop. Primary catcher with athleticism behind the plate. Above average receiver that absorbs pitches. Demonstrates a quick transfer and gains ground when coming out of a crouch. Plus arm strength that keeps runners honest.

Right-handed hitter with a wide stance and relaxed hand set to start. Easy, repeatable load with slight hand movement and heal lift. Simplified load allows for consistent barrel movement through the zone resulting in power to all fields. Good stability on front side and leverages behind the ball.

On the mound, works through a methodical wind up with early hand separation. Comes at hitters with a 3/4 arm slot and rising 4 seam. Good breaking ball keeping hitters off-balance at a -10 clip. Good athlete with projectability at several positions.

Jack is a good kid who brings leadership and presence behind the plate. He is a vocal leader, managing the pitching staff and keeping teammates locked in. His size makes him a big target, which helps pitchers feel comfortable throwing to him.

Defensively, Jack has a good glove and does a strong job picking and blocking pitches in the dirt. He manages the catching position with reliability and toughness.

At the plate, he uses a balanced stance with a lower hand slot. His hands are quick, and he generates easy power to the opposite field. He also shows the ability to pull the ball for power, giving him a complete offensive approach.

On the bases, Jack runs with effort and awareness, competing every time he’s on.
