Jacksen Dunn possesses a large physical frame and presence that stands out on the field. His size, strength, and long-term projection provide an intriguing foundation as he continues to develop as a two-way player.

Offensively, Dunn creates a noticeable presence in the box with a physical approach and loose hands that work from a compact starting position close to the body. His frame provides the potential for added impact offensively as he continues to develop his swing and overall approach. The power potential shows up during his batting practice rounds as he leaves the yard multiple times. He has exhibited maturity as a hitter by not letting a poor at bat or daily production affect future offensive opportunities.

Behind the plate, Dunn shows the tools to continue progressing as a catcher. Working from a one knee down stance, he has produced pop times around 2.22 and shows the athletic ability to continue improving his receiving, blocking, and throwing abilities as he gains experience at the position.

On the mound, Dunn presents an intriguing pitching profile as a tall right-handed arm working from the first-base side of the rubber. His long-levered, projectable frame creates upside, and he currently features a three-pitch mix highlighted by a fastball at 72-73 mph and a curveball at 63 mph. As his physical development continues, his arm strength and overall pitch arsenal have the potential to progress.
