Defensively, Jackson has strong instincts at third base. He handles his backhand well and shows good range, though there is room for improvement. His arm works from a low three-quarters slot on the mound. Jackson attacks hitters with confidence, throwing three pitches for strikes and competing effectively.

At the plate, Jackson is a line-drive hitter with consistent power. He finds the barrel nearly every at-bat, hitting the ball hard with reliability. He executes situational hitting, driving the ball to the middle, hitting sacrifice flies, and executing hit-and-runs. His consistency at the plate makes him a valuable offensive piece.

On the bases, Jackson hustles and runs with effort. His attitude ensures he makes the most of his athleticism, and his determination adds to his impact on the base paths.
