Jett Schoolcraft, a 5'1", 85 lb. 2030 prospect from Beaverton, OR, is set to attend Sunset High School. He’s a natural athlete with tremendous potential and exhibits maturity well beyond his years. A lefty/lefty with a solid, balanced frame, Jett shows an impressive feel for the game and proportionate strength.

Primarily an outfielder, Jett moves fluidly toward the ball, maintaining excellent direction through his plays. His reads off the bat are sharp, allowing him to cover ground efficiently and cut off balls in the gaps. While his arm strength is still developing, he uses a shorter arm action and has a natural talent for tracking balls, often making highlight-reel plays on the run.

At the plate, Jett hits left-handed with a high handset and elbow before loading. He keeps his posture steady during his rhythmic, controlled stride and generates backspin to the pull side with the barrel out front. His base-running skills are improving, and he uses his high baseball IQ to pressure defenses effectively.

On the mound, Jett commands both his fastball and off-speed pitches from both the windup and the stretch. His fastball sits at in the low 70’s, topping out at 73. He has a composed presence on the field, managing the game with poise.

With a highly projectable skill set and a fierce competitive spirit, Jett was named to the 2023 12U USA Baseball National Team, marking him as a player to watch closely.
