Jonah Lam is a 5’8’’ 160 lb. 2027 out of Happy Valley OR attending Clackamas High School. Ultra athletic frame with room for added strength. Game-changing speeds on the base paths with great instincts that puts pressure on the defense.  Aggressive on the bases, gets good reads with balls in the dirt. At the plate, does a good job staying behind the ball and letting it travel.  Hands stay high and active pre-pitch.  Barrell stays in the zone for a long time during his looping swing.  Generates good pop for his size.  Hits to all fields.

Defensively, has good closing speed.  Accurate arm throws through cut offs in the infield.  Opens hips well with balls over his head.  Good anticipation allows for quality jumps off the bat. Comes in on balls effectively.  Excellent student, 4.0 GPA.

Jonah is a good kid with a positive attitude and athletic build. He competes hard, listens well, and contributes to team chemistry.

In the outfield, Jonah shows a good drop step and covers ground efficiently. He reads the ball well and positions himself with confidence.

At the plate, Jonah finds the barrel consistently. He is disciplined, shows good pitch selection, and executes team offense with bunts, hit-and-runs, and sacrifice flies.

On the bases, Jonah is fast and quick out of the box. He is a smart baserunner, stealing bags and taking advantage of defensive mistakes.
