Primarily stationed at first base, Kayden shows advanced footwork and glove work, consistently working from the ground up on picks. He exhibits strong body control when fielding on the move and maintains a good feel for keeping balls in front of him. His ability to change arm angles situationally and quickly recover to cover the bag on double plays speaks to his defensive awareness and agility.
