Kingston is lean and athletic with plenty of room to add muscle. He moves well, hustles, and leads vocally.

At shortstop he shows a strong arm, smooth hands, and has plus range. He also has the feel to leave his feet for plays up the middle or in the 6 hole. There’s some flare to his game and he even made a one-handed runner to save a run. On the mound, he works from a ¾ to slight over-the-top arm slot. The fastball shows arm-side run. He also spins a good slider, and the curveball flashes 12/6 break that can be developed into a true strikeout pitch.

He drives the ball up the middle for power and can turn on pitches to the pull side. He already is a good hitter and the profile points to more growth as he adds strength.

He is a plus baserunner with a high IQ. He will consistently steal bags and puts defenses under stress.
