Kye Leenders is a 6’0’’ 185 lb. 2027 out of Sherwood OR and attending Sherwood High School.  Elite physicality in his frame with muscular build.  Primarily 1B with developing glove work and understanding of the position. Has a strong arm with good ball transfer skills.

Left-handed hitter that displays gap to gap power and can drive the ball to all fields.  Starts with a slightly open stance with high hand set, compact swing allows his quick hands to produce effortless pop.  Has good speed which can create pressure for defenses. (7.19 60 yd)

Works downhill efficiently with a fastball, change, and slider offering. Fastball has natural arm side run away from right-handed hitters (max velo 85 mph). Both off-speed pitches have shown effectiveness in keeping hitters off balance. A deceptive pickoff move at first can keep the running game in check.  Great student.
