Liam Eldridge is a 6’1” first baseman and right-handed pitcher from Wilsonville, Oregon, representing the 2030 class at Wilsonville High School. A physical presence at first base, Liam offers a large target defensively and projects to continue adding athleticism and strength as he develops. Liam will need to continue to work on his athleticism so he can be versatile as a first baseman or a corner outfielder. That athleticism will also help him on the base paths and on the mound.

On the mound, Liam works with a clean, repeatable delivery that keeps him consistent in the strike zone. His large frame adds a level of intimidation, and he confidently attacks hitters with his fastball while showing steady progress with his developing off-speed pitches. With his size, his velocity should see significant gains as he continues to mature. As his career develops, Liam will also gain a deeper understanding of pitch sequencing and how to keep hitters off balance.

At the plate, Liam’s strength and balance stand out. He shows easy opposite-field power with a tall, controlled stance that allows him to track pitches deep and let his quick hands work. Once Liam grows into his body, he will gain more barrel control, add to his power, and drive balls to the pull side with authority. He projects as a true power hitter as he gets older, with the ability to impact the game to all fields.

There is a lot to dream on with Liam as he gets bigger, stronger, and faster.
