An athletic player from Portland, Oregon.  The 2028 Lincoln High School OF/RHP is maturing nicely.  He plays all three outfield positions with confidence and is able to slide into any of them to impact the game.  Tracks the ball well and uses clean routes to make plays.  Good footwork is a mainstay in his game and its only getting better.  Gets the ball deep and works through his cut off men.

On the hill the ¾ arm slot works the zone well.  Off-speed is still developing and is becoming more of his game.  Works quickly and gets ahead early.  Good stamina will allow him to get deeper into games as he gets older.

Repeatable approach at the plate.  Gets the front foot down early allowing him to react well to off-speed pitches and drive them.  Quick hands get inside the ball well and flashes the ability to pull the ball nicely.

Luca is a good kid with strong instincts. He competes and understands the game.

He has good hands at third and has a solid transfer on cutoff plays. On the mound, he throws from a ¾ arm slot. The fastball isn’t overpowering, but it plays because he locates and pairs it with offspeed. He can strike his curveball on command. He uses a good slide step with runners in scoring position. He’s a gamer with feel and swagger who knows how to pitch.

At the plate, he uses a leg kick for timing and sees the ball well. Pitch recognition is good, the bat-to-ball skills are present, and when he finds the barrel it comes off hot. Finding more consistent barrel and adding strength will boost the power output.

He runs well and shows good IQ on the bases, taking the next bag when the defense relaxes.
