Luke is a great kid with a strong attitude. He competes with leadership qualities and plays the game with energy and toughness.

Defensively, Luke has smooth hands, presents his glove early, and shows good range up the middle. He consistently makes picks and tags on catcher throwdowns. On the mound, he gets the job done with strikes and shows a feel for offspeed pitches. He may not overpower hitters, but his ability to throw strikes and mix pitches makes him reliable.

At the plate, Luke uses a balanced stance and stays on top of the ball. He has good hands, drives the ball to the opposite field, and competes with every at-bat. He is a tough out with the ability to make pitchers work.

On the bases, Luke is quick and speedy. He is a legitimate base-stealing threat and applies pressure any time he’s on.
