Malachi is a true competitor with heart and toughness. He is a pleasure to be around and consistently hustles in every situation. Vocal and aware, he demonstrates leadership qualities and has the ability to flush mistakes quickly, bounce back, and refocus on helping his team.

Defensively, Malachi is versatile. He has played catcher, middle infield, and spent significant time as both a primary outfielder and catcher in The League. Behind the plate, he frames pitches well and continues to improve his receiving skills. He is intentional about learning and improving in both practice and games, embracing the role of a vocal leader and “field general.” In the outfield, his hustle and willingness to lay out for plays reflect his unselfish, team-first approach. His work ethic stood out as one of the strongest in The League in 2025.

Offensively, Malachi works from a balanced stance with quick hands. He understands the strike zone, draws walks, and consistently produces quality at-bats. He competes, executes situational hitting, and has shown the ability to spark rallies, especially following difficult defensive innings. As he matures physically, he has the potential to add more power and drive the ball gap-to-gap with greater consistency.

On the bases, Malachi runs well and competes with effort and awareness. His hustle allows him to create opportunities and put pressure on opposing defenses. With his relentless work ethic, leadership, and love for the game, Malachi has a bright future ahead.
