Malachi is a competitor with heart and toughness. He is a pleasure to be around and a kid who hustles in every situation. He is vocal, shows good awareness, and has the ability to flush mistakes quickly and bounce back to help his team.

Defensively, Malachi is versatile. He stepped up to catch when needed, even though it’s not his primary position listed for the league, and threw a runner out. He frames pitches well but could improve his receiving. He blocks adequately with room to grow and could be more vocal behind the plate. In the outfield, he hustles and lays out for plays, showing his willingness to sacrifice for the team.

On offense, Malachi works from a balanced stance with quick hands. He knows the strike zone, draws walks, and consistently puts together quality at-bats. He battles, executes team at-bats, and has shown the ability to start rallies after tough defensive innings.

On the bases, Malachi is a good runner who hustles and competes. His awareness and effort allow him to help his team with his legs.
