Moose Osborne, a 5'2", 135-pound catcher from the class of 2029, is set to attend Sunset High School. A fiercely competitive athlete, Moose plays with maximum effort and consistently challenges himself by competing against older players, holding his own in the process. Behind the plate, he moves well laterally and excels at blocking pitches, keeping balls in front with ease.

As a right-handed hitter, Moose starts with a low, relaxed hand position, generating good hand separation during his load as his front foot lands on time. He frequently barrels up pitches to the pull side but can also adjust and drive the ball up the middle, showing good adaptability to off-speed pitches. His speed and situational baserunning are still developing, but he's progressing well for his age.

On the mound, Moose throws right-handed with a shorter arm action, making it difficult for hitters to pick up his release. He moves efficiently down the mound and gets over his front side effectively. In the Northwest Summer League, he consistently sat in the 70-73 mph range.
