Beckett “Moose” Osborne is a highly athletic and physical player who already has a good head start on his peers. His speed makes him a constant threat on the base paths, where his aggressive yet calculated approach often allows him to take the extra base and put pressure on opposing defenses. Offensively, Moose produces frequent loud contact to all parts of the field, hitting both for power and average. As he continues to get stronger, he will drive balls to the wall and over. His tall stance and compact swing allow him to drive the baseball without getting cheated at the plate.

Moose is also a solid pitcher who throws strikes and attacks hitters with confidence. He commands the mound with a presence uncommon for his age and is often trusted to pitch in big games, regularly taking the mound in semifinal and final matchups for his club team.

Behind the dish, Moose is a vocal and engaged catcher who actively directs the defense, clearly communicating where throws need to go. He works hard to provide a strong, steady target for his pitchers and takes pride in the details of his catching craft. Moose will be a great addition to Sunset High School as a Freshman and has the potential to see the field at the varsity level early in his high school career.
