Nolan Foglio is a 2026 out of Happy Valley OR and attending Clackamas High School. Lean, athletic build, 5’11’’ 175 lb., with room for continued added strength. Primary catcher who has good balance with a side-saddled stance with soft hands.  Is an above-average receiver and possesses elite arm strength, 85 catcher’s velocity. Has the ability to play in different spots defensively.  Played the outfield some in NWSL, reads the ball well off the bat and his arm strength plays. 

Right-handed hitter who was a proven tough out.  High hand set to start with a medium leg left closing his front side.  Hands are direct to the ball with an easy, repeatable swing.  Works middle of the field with a long finish. Good student.

Nolan is a confident player who shows leadership qualities, especially behind the plate. He is vocal and talkative, taking command of the defense and making sure everyone is in the right position. His presence and willingness to lead give his team a sense of stability and confidence.

As a catcher, he handles the position with good footwork and shows the ability to field bunts cleanly. His arm is strong, and he delivers accurate throwdowns to the bases. Nolan does an excellent job of leading the defense, giving pitchers confidence, and controlling the tempo of the game.

At the plate, he begins with the bat on his shoulder before starting his hand load. He stays on top of the ball and has a good swing that allows him to find consistent barrels. He shows the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field with authority, adding balance to his offensive game.

On the bases, Nolan competes with effort and awareness. While not primarily a speed threat, he hustles every 90 and looks to take advantage of opportunities.
