Parker McCormack, a 2027 prospect from Tualatin High School, boasts a 6’3”, 160-pound frame with a long, lean build and developing athleticism. He displays solid range and flashes glove skills that make him a reliable option at first base.

At the plate, Parker starts with a high elbow and keeps his hands close to his body. He maintains a wide stance and uses a toe-touch trigger to time his swing. With pull-side power, he’s always looking to drive the ball, regardless of the count. His high baseball IQ shows in his ability to execute smart, team-first at-bats.

On the mound, Parker is a strike thrower who consistently hits his spots, sitting in the 72-74 mph range topping out at 75. His go-to out pitch is a slider, which he confidently throws in any count, and he effectively mixes in a changeup that induces weak contact from opposing hitters.

Parker brings good teammate energy and competes hard. As he continues to control his emotions in tough moments, his game will take another jump. He wants the ball and isn’t shy about big situations.

At first base, he moves well and provides a big target. His feet are clean on cutoffs, the arm is strong, and he leads vocally with confidence. On the mound, he works from a three-quarters arm slot with a shorter arm action. He mixes his fastball, curveball, and changeup well. The feel to change speeds and the willingness to attack the strike zone make him dependable.

In the box, Parker shows easy power with quick hands. He barrels balls to the opposite field in games and can do damage early. Improving his two-strike approach will help him stretch counts and tap into even more in-game power.

He is not the fastest runner but he holds his own. He gets good jumps and his instincts allow the speed to play.
