Philip is a good kid with a great attitude. He plays with confidence and competes with energy that elevates those around him. His positivity and focus make him a player coaches can rely on.

In the outfield, he owns a plus arm and shows good glove work. He reads the ball well, gets good jumps in center, and takes good angles. The ability to throw runners out is real, and he handles his defensive responsibilities with poise.

Offensively, Philip stands tall and narrow in the box with a relaxed, confident look. His hands work well, and his bat-to-ball skills allow him to stay through the baseball and consistently make contact. He finds barrels often in the cage and translates that into solid contact during games.

On the bases, he gets down the line quickly and has legitimate base-stealing ability. He runs with intelligence and is an all-around dependable baserunner.
