Ryder Listy is a 5’11’’ 190 lb. 2026 out of Portland OR attending Jesuit High School. Primary catcher with a strong, compact build, especially in his lower half. Plays bigger than his frame suggests. Works from a low crouch and off one knee. Gains ground well while coming out of the crouch. Has plenty of arm strength to keep runners in check, 82.3 catcher velocity.

Right-handed hitter with a balanced, open set-up. Has rhythm in his hands and a short leg kick for timing. Get his barrel to the ball often and works gap to gap with consistent line drives. Has demonstrated power to pull side and strength in his hands. Has good speed for his position with a high baseball IQ.

Ryder has a great attitude and approaches the game as a true competitor. He brings fire and energy every time he plays, giving his team a spark. His mindset and effort make him a great teammate and reliable presence.

Defensively, Ryder shows good hands behind the plate with solid footwork. He has the ability to back pick runners and owns a strong arm that produces accurate throwdowns. His overall defensive package makes him a dependable catcher who can change games with his arm.

At the plate, Ryder demonstrates good barrel control and finds the barrel often. He competed in every in-game at-bat, showing toughness and consistency. He has easy power that shows up in BP, with the ability to hit home runs and still control the barrel.

On the bases, Ryder moves well, especially for a catcher. He takes good angles when rounding bases, gets good jumps, and uses his athleticism to be effective.
