Spencer Gage possesses a medium athletic profile with room for continued physical development. His athleticism, competitiveness, and willingness to embrace the process provide a strong foundation as he continues to grow as a player.

Offensively, Gage works from a compact setup with consistent timing and the ability to turn the barrel efficiently. His slightly open stance allows him to create a repeatable swing path, and his ability to make consistent contact gives him a solid offensive foundation. Speed is one of his best tools, highlighted by a 4.20 home-to-first time, allowing him to create pressure on the bases and impact the game with his athleticism.

Defensively, Gage is continuing to develop at third base and is gaining valuable experience at the position. He consistently handles routine plays and continues to improve his actions and footwork as his confidence grows. Continued repetition and comfort at the position will help him become a more complete defender.

On the mound, Gage works from the first-base side of the rubber with an average physical presence and a three-pitch mix. His arsenal features a fastball at 72-74 mph, changeup at 69-70 mph, and curveball at 63-66 mph. As he continues to develop his strength and command, his ability to mix pitches and compete in the zone will be key factors in his progression.
