Tyler Parish, a 2028 prospect from Hillsboro, OR, is set to attend Liberty High School. Standing at 6'0" and weighing 165 lbs, he has a slender frame with developing athleticism and plenty of room for strength gains. His projectable build suggests continued growth.

As a primary outfielder, Tyler demonstrates sound fundamentals with solid footwork and clean fielding mechanics. His arm strength is still developing, with an outfield velocity of 62 mph, but he consistently delivers accurate throws. Over time, his confidence in the outfield has grown, and he approaches the game with a studious mindset.

At the plate, Tyler hits right-handed, starting from a balanced, upright stance with a high hand set. His load involves a small stride, and he drops his hands to create a level swing path. He has the ability to drive the ball to all fields, regularly producing high exit velocities, reaching 82 mph. Tyler is a big, well-built kid who stays calm, cool, and collected under pressure.

He moves well in the outfield and tracks the ball with confidence. On the mound, he shows a short arm, almost shot-put-like arm slot. The fastball has good velocity and plays through the zone causing a lot of weak contact and swing-throughs.

At the plate, he competes and looks to do damage when he gets something he can drive.

On the bases, he runs with effort and awareness and looks to take the extra 90 when it’s there.
