Will Slater 6’2’’ 225 lb. 2025 out of Portland OR attending Sunset High School. Primary 1B/RHP with a strong, athletic frame.  Can make all the plays at first base and flashes elite glove work, making difficult picks look routine. Vocal leader on the field and is a team first guy.

Right-handed hitter that tracks the ball well and is intentional with his ability to stay inside the ball. Short, compact swing that consistently finds barrels and lines balls to all parts of the outfield. Widens out with no stride with 2 strikes.

On the mound, works off his high leg kick with a fastball and slider that he can throw in any count. His fastball max velocity is 82 mph to go along with a tight slider at 72.  Effectively works inside and gets swings and misses with the slider. Has high baseball IQ and is a solid baserunner.  Good student.
