Gonzalez is a 2027 grad out of McNary high school in Keizer Oregon. This speedy outfielder has great blossoming tools making him an exciting prospect to watch.  He has plus speed to track down balls in the gap, works through the baseball and cut angles properly.  His 74 MPH outfield velo plays very well and he does a good job of throwing to and through the cut man.

A quiet pre-pitch set up at the plate, he stays balanced through contact and has good extension.  High hands work quickly to get into the zone, and he keeps his barrel in the zone.  Solid line drive approach, quick hands allow him to attack inside pitches.

Xavier brings leadership qualities and a fun, coachable personality. He is a strong teammate who elevates those around him and plays the game the right way.

In the outfield, he is smooth and dependable. He covers ground with confidence, shows good closing speed, and uses a plus drop step to cover the gaps. His routes are really good, and he turns tough balls into outs.

At the plate, Xavier has quiet hands and generates easy power. He can drive the ball to the opposite field, pull with authority, and even bunt with confidence. His balanced offensive skill set makes him dangerous in multiple ways.

On the bases, Xavier runs with speed and confidence. He has the ability to delay steal on his own and shows high IQ, turning his speed into production.
