Zephyr is a slightly undersized catcher who plays big and competes hard. He is a good kid with a “flush it” mindset, always willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. His toughness and athleticism make him a dependable teammate.

Defensively, Zephyr shows solid skills at catcher. He can throw runners out, backpick effectively, and uses good footwork to maximize his arm. He sacrifices his body to block pitches and hustles down the line even with gear on. With more composure and slowing the game down, he could take another step forward in his game.

At the plate, Zephyr has a wide stance with the barrel wrapped around his head, and he consistently puts together quality at-bats. He shows athleticism in his swing and the ability to put the ball in play consistently with a great 2-strike approach.

On the bases, Zephyr runs well, especially considering his position. His hustle and effort allow him to compete with his legs, and he shows quickness running down the line.
