J.P. Sportman

J.P. Sportman is a former professional baseball player and founder of JP3 Baseball, one of the nation's premier hitting development programs. A four-time All-NEC selection at Central Connecticut State University, Sportman was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 2014 MLB Draft. Today, he trains Major League players including Matt Chapman, Alex Bregman, Ramón Laureano, Richie Palacios, and Bobby Dalbec, while also working with many of the nation's top college and amateur hitters.

From 2024–2026, Sportman served as the head coach of the Detroit Tigers Scout Team under USA Prime National, leading one of the nation's premier showcase teams while helping develop elite high school players for success at the collegiate and professional levels.

Kevin Cron

Kevin Cron is a former professional baseball player and elite hitting instructor with extensive experience at the collegiate and professional levels. A standout at the University of Arizona, Cron earned All-American honors before being selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2014 MLB Draft. He went on to play in Major League Baseball with the Diamondbacks and competed professionally in both the United States and Japan.

Today, Cron specializes in developing elite high school, collegiate, and professional hitters, providing advanced instruction in swing mechanics, offensive approach, game preparation, and performance at the plate. His experience competing and coaching at the highest levels of baseball gives athletes a unique opportunity to learn from one of the game's premier hitting instructors.
